“Thermal modernisation of public utility buildings in the Opatów Poviat”.

The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernisation of five public buildings in Opatów Powiat, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 9 January 2007 as well as to the additional information provided by the Focal Point on 2 April 2007. The completed project shall include the following activities and results: Thermal insulation of five public buildings: 1. Powiat Labour Office in Opatów; 2. Schools Complex No. 1 in Opatów; 3. Schools Complex No. 2 in Opatów; 4. Special Educational Centre in Niemienice; 5. the Clinic of the Special Independent Public Health Care Complex in Opatów. The works will consist of: 1. In the Powiat Labour Office: Main works to be carried out are insulation of walls, roofs and ceiling roofs, replacement of window and remaining door frames (not yet replaced.), modernisaton of the central heating system 2. In the Schools Complex No.1 in Opatów: Main works to be carried out are insulation of walls, ceilings and windows and doors and insulation to the binding requirements, repair of facade. The internal central heating installation will be replaced. 3. In the Schools Complex No. 2 in Opatów: The main works to be carried out are insulation of walls, roofs, ceilings and windows, replacement of windows, frames and doors, and also the internal central heating installation. 4. In the building of the Special Educational Centre in Niemienice: The main works will be insulation of gable-ends and ceilings, and replacement of window and door frames and central heating. 5. In the building of the Clinic of Special Independent Public Health Care Complex: The main works to be carried our are replacement of windows and doors, repair the roof, insulation of the walls. 6. Publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Opatów County. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
