Thermo-modernization of public utility buildings in Wabrzezno.

The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency of six public utility buildings in the Municipality of Wabrzezno by improving their thermal insulation properties, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 9 January 2007, and further correspondence with the Focal Point dated 11 April and 23 May 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Elementary School No. 2 (incl. the school building, gymnasium, administrative building and cafeteria) in Wabrzezno: replacement of windows; insulation of the facade walls; insulation of the ceilings (school building and gymnasium); insulation of the flat roofs (other building parts); modernisation of the central heating system. 2. Elementary School No. 3 in Wabrzezno: replacement of windows; insulation of the facade walls and basement walls; insulation of the flat roofs; modernisation of the central heating system; modernisation of the hot water supply system. 3. Junior High School in Wabrzezno: replacement of windows; insulation of the facade walls; insulation of the ceilings (school building); insulating of the flat roofs (rest of buildings); modernisation of the central heating system; modernisation of the hot water supply system. 4. Nursery School (buildings no. 1 and no. 2): replacement of windows; insulation of the facade walls; insulation of the flat roofs; modernisation of the central heating system. 5. Culture Centre of Wabrzezno: insulation of the facade walls; insulation of the flat roofs; modernisation of the central heating system. 6. Municipal Sports Club (incl. the gymnasium and administrative building) in Wabrzezno: replacement of windows; insulation of the facade walls; insulation of the flat roofs (gymnasium); modernisation of the central heating system. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Wabrzezno. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
