Thermal modernisation of buildings of the Remand Centre in Kielce

The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency of the Remand Centre (prison) in Kielce by improving its thermal insulation properties, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application dated 5 September 2006, and correspondence with the Focal Point dated 1 December 2006, 14 February 2007, 7 March 2007, 13 March 2007 and 21 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results in eleven buildings of the prison: • Thermo insulation of roofs and external walls; • Replacement of windows; • Modernisation of the central heating system, including replacement of radiators, etc. • Project publicity. The Project Promoter is the Remand Centre in Kielce. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
