THE CONSTRUCTION AND MODERNISATION OF THE HEATING NETWORK IN ORZYSZ

The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency through reducing the use of individual heating systems by connecting buildings to the main heat distribution network, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 16 October 2005 and subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point dated 12 December 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Organising a public tender and selection of a contractor; - Construction of a thermal network in the heating plant; - Connecting the network to buildings; - Elimination of individual heating systems; - Construction of a modern high parameter network and - Installation of new thermal centres. The Project Promoter is the Orzysz Municipality The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible project cost.
