Shaping awareness of healthy lifestyle through making available recreation zones in the territory of the Karlino Town and Commune.

The purpose of the Project is to shape healthy lifestyles through the creation of recreational zones for children in the commune of Karlino, with the overall objective of supporting the social and economic development of the town and commune of Karlino and improving the living conditions of its inhabitants. Reference is made to the application, dated 18 May 2006, and to correspondence with the Focal Point, dated 24 July and 6 December 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - The construction of 12 multi-use sport fields/courts (including 5 football pitches); - The construction of 11 playgrounds; - The installation of lighting equipment in the recreation areas; - The organisation of 122 sport and recreation events (including football and volleyball tournaments, and physical exercises on playgrounds in the territory of Karlino town and surrounding villages). The Project Promoter is the commune of Karlino. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
