Implementation of the “Sport is Health” Preventive Health Protection Programme in the Komancza Commune

The purpose of the Project is to provide children and adolescents in the Komancza Commune with an opportunity to participate in sports activities and events, with the overall objective of promoting healthy lifestyle habits among residents of the Komancza Commune. Reference is made to the application dated 18 May 2006, as well as to the letter of the Focal Point dated 8 November 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: constructing and fully equipping two school sports fields and a tennis court in Rzepedz, purchasing equipment for various sports, and developing and implementing a preventive health protection programme to increase the physical activity of children in the Konancza Commune. The Project Promoter is the Komancza Commune. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
