“Competences First - Training and Courses for Employees of the Szczecin Municipality Government”

The purpose of the Project is the improvement of staff qualifications and introduction of e-learning, with the overall objective of providing efficient, effective and high quality public services by the municipal administration of Szczecin. Reference is made to the application dated 28 November 2005 and to additional information received through the Focal Point dated 12 June 2006, 2 November 2006 and 5 February 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - specialist training in about 20 topics (public procurement, spatial planning, public access and confidential information; state aid; EU legislation; public finances etc); - IT and e-learning courses. The Project Promoter is the City of Szczecin. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 25 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
