The establishment of Ambulatory Department in Daugavpils Psychoneurological Hospital.

The purpose of the Project is to establish an ambulatory department at the Daugavpils Psychoneurological Hospital with the overall objective to improve the quality of mental health service provision in Latvia. Reference is made to the application dated 3 June 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - develop the building plans and organise the tenders and necessary permits; - construction works of the ambulatory department for mental health care; - purchase and installation of equipment; - provision of training for the medical staff; - project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Daugavpils Psychoneurological Hospital. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Latvian State provides at least 7.5 percent of the total estimated Project costs and the Project Promoter provides at least 11.6 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
