Renovation of living corps of Cesu Correctional Institution of Juveniles.

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the living premises for the convicted juveniles in the Cesu Correctional Institution of Juveniles, with the overall objective to contribute to an efficient penalty enforcement system in Latvia that fulfills requirements of international regulations and national legislation. Reference is made to the application dated 10 June 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Renovation works and equipping of the renovated building; 2. Publicity and management. The Project Promoter is the Latvian Prison Administration (LPA). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
