Development of Facilities‘ Accessibility and Quality in Public Institution Druskininkai Rehabilitation Sanatorium for Children “Saulute“

The purpose of the Project is to create a special department for the treatment and education of children with nervous system illnesses or movement support apparatus disorders, with the overall objective of improving children's health by providing high quality services. Reference is made to the application form dated 16 January 2009, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - project management and administration, including audits, insurance, tendering, and publicity activities; - technical project preparation and project expertise; - reconstruction works to the internal infrastructure of the sanatorium building, including renovation of the internal engineering systems, and installation of an electricity system, safety, fire alarm and ventilation systems; and - purchase of equipment and furniture. The Project Promoter is the Public institution Druskininkai Rehabilitation Sanatorium for Children 'Saulute'. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian Government shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
