Renovation of Kelme district educational institutions' athletic fields

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the sports facilities of five schools in the Kelme district and improve the conditions for students and local residents participation in sports activities, with the overall objective of propagating a healthy lifestyle among the residents in the district. Reference is made to the application dated 21 January 2009, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Technical project preparation and preparation of tender procedure, - Procurement of technical and constructional supervision, - Reconstruction works at the Šaukenai Vladas Putvis-Putvinskis Secondary School, "Aukuras" Secondary School, Užventis Šatrija Ragana Secondary School, J.Graiciunas Gymnasium and Kražiai Gymnasium; - Purchase of sports equipment, - Management (including audit) and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Kelme District Municipality Administration. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with five partner education institutions: the Šaukenai Vladas Putvis-Putvinskis Secondary School, "Aukuras" Secondary School, Užventis Šatrija Ragana Secondary School, J.Graiciunas Gymnasium and Kražiai Gymnasium. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
