Improvement of Accessibility and Quality of Emergent Consulting Aid and Reanimation – Intensive Therapy Services in Public Institution Klaipeda Children’s Hospital

The purpose of the Project is to increase the healthcare capacities of children's emergency and intensive health care services in Klaipeda Children's hospital (KHC) , with the overall objective of improving accessibility and quality of children's healthcare services.. Reference is made to the application dated 22 January 2009 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: Project management, audit, public procurement and publicity, Renovation works, and Purchasing of medical equipment , including staff training and purchase of furniture. The Project Promoter is the Public institution Klaipeda Children's Hospital. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Finance provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs and the Project Promoter provides at least 2.3 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
