The purpose of the Project is to renovate the Rebellion Museum of 1863, located at the Paberže estate, and its adaptation for cultural, tourism and other public needs with the overall objective of preserving wooden architecture heritage in the district of Kedainiai. Reference is made to the application, dated 22 December 2008 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Prepare and carry out tenders for public procurement; - Renovation works; - Modernisation of the expositions in the museum; - Management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the administration of Kedainiai district municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
