Modernization of training environment of orthopaedic specialists

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the teaching infrastructure used by orthopaedic specialists in the Kaunas Vocational Training Centre, and arrange a new pediatric-orthopeadic care teaching program, with the overall objective to improve vocational training quality and making it more adaptable to the Lithuanian labour market. Reference is made to the application dated 1 August 2007 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Elaboration of the technical aspects of the project prior to the renovation; - reconstruction of the education centre's building; - purchase of relevant equipment; - prepare teaching programme; and - Project management including publicity. The Project Promoter is the Kaunas Vocational Training Centre for Service Business Specialists. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian Government provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
