Dynamics of prognostic and predictive markers for oncology

The purpose of the Project is to improve efficiency of diagnostics and treatment in oncology in Lithuania by establishing infrastructure for scientific research in the field of post genomic molecular oncology, with the overall objective of improving cancer treatment in Lithuania. Reference is made to the application dated 03 August 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - purchase of equipment; - purchase of materials; - conduct research and analysis of results; - traineeship in Norway; - management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is Vilnius University Oncology Institute. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with Vilnius University. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian state budget provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
