"Improvement of Children Living Conditions in Children Foster Home of Panevezys District"

The purpose of the Project is to renovate, reconstruct and equip the Panevezys children foster home, located in Linkauciai village, with the overall objective of improving living conditions for children living in children's foster homes in Panevezys district in Lithuania. Reference is made to the application, dated 2 August 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The Project will include the following activities and results: - Elaboration of the technical aspects of the Project prior to the renovation; - renovation of the building; - readjustment of the premises (kitchen, washroom, laundry, storages); - purchase of relevant equipment (according to the detailed budget); - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Children foster home of Panevezys district. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Panevezys District Municipality Administration. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian State Budget shall provide at least additional 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
