The best conditions for non-formal education for school students of Šiauliai city

The purpose of the Project is to acquire sports equipment and upgrade sports grounds necessary for the implementation of non-formal education in the town of Siauliai, with the overall objective of increasing the quality and diversity of non-formal education. Reference is made to the application dated 9 August 2007 and any subsequent correspondance with the Focal Point. The completed project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchase of sports equipment for the municipal non-formal educational activities (16 sport grounds belonging to 9 municipal sports schools); - replace covering in two universal sport grounds; - organize summer and after-school activities (including sports games, day camps, training seminars on relevant topics) and; - management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Siauliai City Municipality Administration. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
