“ESTABLISHMENT OF THE AMBULATORY – CONSULTING CENTRES FOR THE CHILDREN IN VILNIUS CITY, IN ORDER TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY AND QUALITY OF CHILD HEALTH CARE SERVICES”

The purpose of the Project is to establish three specialised health consultation centers for children in Vilnius, with the overall objective of improving accessibility and quality of child health care services. Reference is made to the application dated 31July, 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall involve the following activities and results: - repair works at Antakalnis, Centras and Seskine policlinics; - purchase of medical equipment for Antakalnis, Centras and Seskine policlinics; - management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Public Entity Šeškines Poliklinika. Subject to national law the Project shall be implemented in partnership with Antakalnis and Centras policlinics. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian state budget provides at least 4 percent ; Vilnius City Municipality at least 11 percent; Antakalnis, Centras ans Seskine policlinics each provides at least 1.67 percent of the total estimated eligible project costs.
