“Renovation of the Taurage children foster home Šaltinelis"

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the Saltinelis children home, located in the Taurage district, and improve the staff training, with the overall objective of improving the living conditions of the children and improve their chances for a successful integration into the society as young adults. Reference is made to the application dated 1 August 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The Project will include the following activities and results: - Elaboration of the technical aspects of the project prior to the renovation; - renovation of the building; - purchase of relevant equipment; - staff training and; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is Taurage district municipality administration. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian Government provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
