Radviliskis foster home "Nykstukas" reconstruction and increasing of personnel qualifying skills

The purpose of the Project is to renovate the Nykstukas foster home, a three story building located in Radviliskis, and improve the training of the staff, with the overall objective of improving the living conditions and education standards for the children, increasing their chances for a successful integration into the society as young adults. Reference is made to the application dated 30 July 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The Project will include the following activities and results: - Elaboration of the technical aspects of the project prior to the renovation; - renovation of the building; - purchase of equipment; - training of staff; - purchase and install new security cameras for the safety of the building and the children from intruders and; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Radviliskis District Municipality Administration. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian Government provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
