”New School on the Border” –European University Institute of Koszeg Project

The purpose of the Project is to develop the "European University Institute" of Köszeg by establishing a university research centre and developing existing and new educational programmes; with the overall objective of improving educational and research facilities and human resources development in the region in West Hungary. Reference is made to the application dated 10 December 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Develop and implement a new Master programme ("Cultural Heritage Management"), including development of course materials; (2) Organise and implement the Master programme "International and European studies"; (3) Development of e-learning system; (4) Purchase and installation of equipment; (5) Project management and publicity (including procurement). The Project Promoter is the Társadalomtudományok és Európa-tanulmányok Intézete Alapítvány (the Institute for Social and European Studies Foundation (ISES)). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the University of Agder (Universitetet i Agder). The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 10 percent of the total eligible Project costs is provided by the Project Promoter and the Koszeg Municipality.
