The purpose of the Project is to renovate and equip the Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatooncology Clinic of Semmelweis University, develop training programmes and strengthen the cooperation between higher education and the private sector; with the overall objective of converting the Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatooncology Clinic of Semmelweis University into a Central-European knowledge centre in the field of dermatology, venereology, dermato-oncology, allergo-immunology, dermato-genetics and pharmacogenomics. Reference is made to the application dated 4 June 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Renovate and furnish the Dermatology, Venereology and Dermatooncology Clinic of Semmelweis University (Semmelweis Egyetem; Bor-, Nemikórtani és Boronkológiai Klinika; Magyarország 1085 Budapest; Mária utca 41); (2) Purchase and installation of equipment; (3) Develop and implement training programmes; (4) Project management and publicity (including procurement). The Project Promoter is the Nékám Foundation. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Semmelweis University (Department of Dermatology, Venerology and Dermatooncology) and Rikshospitalet (Department of Dermatology). The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 10 percent of the total eligible Project costs is provided by the Nékám Foundation (4.95 percent) and the Semmelweis University (5.05 percent).
