Renovation of Pál Nagy Elementary School and Catering Vocational School in Felsobük, Human Resource Development in the Micro-region

The purpose of the Project is to renovate and partly reconstruct the Pal Nagy Elementary and Catering Vocational School in Felsobük, with the overall objective of promoting high quality vocational and adult training and subsequently increase the human resources competence in the region. Reference is made to the application dated 22 December 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Preparation of final construction drawings; - Preparation and execution of public tenders; - Procurement and selection of a technical controller; - Renovation and construction of Pal Nagy Elementary and Catering Vocational School; - Preparatory arrangement for cooperation with Norwegian partner; - Purchase and transportation of equipment; - Management (including audit) and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Local Government of Buk. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian School of Hotel Management (Norsk Hotellhøgskole, Universitet i Stavanger). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
