Adult education, vocational education and enterprise promotion

The purpose of the Project is to establish physical- and IT infrastructure and provide training and counselling for possible entrepreneurship and employment; with the overall objective of reducing the unemployment rate and promoting equal opportunities and human resources development in Hungary. Reference is made to the application dated 3 April 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Extending and renovating the business incubator house "Polyhouse" (1094 Budapest, Balázs Béla utca 18., lot number: 37 39). (2) Purchase and installation of equipment. (3) Delivery and development of training courses (including training materials). (4) Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Budapest Polytechnic Foundation. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Közgazdasági Politechnikum Gimnázium és Szakközépiskola (Business Polytechnic Secondary School and Vocational Secondary School). The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 10 percent of the total eligible Project costs is provided by the Közgazdasági Politechnikum Gimnázium és Szakközépiskola (Business Polytechnic Secondary School and Vocational Secondary School).
