Environment Protection - Environmental Education: Establishment of a Regional Environmental Training Centre

The purpose of the Project is to increase the capacity of the regional environmental education training centre in the protected area of Mártély, including accommodation, with the overall objective of providing environmentally conscious education in Hódmezovásárhely and its region. Reference is made to the application dated 7 November 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Project management and publicity; - Construction activities (which includes the renovation and construction of the youth hostel and establishing study pathways); - Elaboration of instruction packages and relevant typographic printing services; and - Purchasing study tools and furniture for the training centre. The Project Promoter is Municipality of Hódmezovásárhely with Rights of a County. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 42.85 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
