Transferring the Experiences of Visegrad Cooperation to the Western Balkans and the GUAM Countries

The purpose of the Project is to transfer the experiences of Visegrad cooperation to the Western Balkans and the GUAM countries in order to assist them in reaching common objectives and resolving common problems, with the overall objective of assuring democracy, partnership and regional cooperation at the external borders of the EU. Reference is made to the application, dated 28 January 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - organize preparatory meetings and regional workshops; - elaboration of a preparatory and final study to support cooperation of the target countries; - create and launch a project website; - organize a final conference; and - publicity and management. The Project Promoter is the 'International Center for Democratic Transition'. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs
