Supporting implementation of accessibility in the area affected by the Duna-Mecsek Regional Development Foundation

The purpose of the Fund is to improve disabled people's accessibility to buildings open for the public, support equal opportunities for participation in worklife and increase the general knowledge on challenges facing disabled people in the Duna-Mecsek region (consisting of 60 settlements), with the overall objective of complying with national and EU requirements on public buildings and accessibility for disabled people. Reference is made to the application dated 8 November 2007 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Fund shall include the following activities and results: - Coordination, management and publicity of the Fund; - Regranting of fund to selected sub-projects from open calls. The Intermediary is the Duna-Mecsek Regional Development Foundation. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Intermediary provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible costs of the Fund.
