Complex Utilisation of a Unique Historic Building

The purpose of the Project is to renovate a historic building in the centre of Vác for environmental training and community activity purposes, with the overall objective of preservation, maintenance and utilisation of Hungarian cultural and historic places. Reference is made to the application dated 7 November 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Restoration of the building ornaments on the facades of Göncöl House; 2. Exterior renovation of plinths, wrought iron works, construction of flood-prevention fence, painting of building and paving; 3. Interior renovation, elevator installation and electrical work of the Göncöl House; 4. Installation of bio-solar central heating system and 5. Project management, public procurement and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Göncöl Fund. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter shall provide at least 14.35 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
