9th Focus areas: Development of cross-border co-operation at the Hungarian-Ukrainian border

The purpose of the Fund is to promote cross-border sustainable economic, social and environmental development projects, with the overall objective of increasing cross-border cooperation in the Hungarian-Ukrainian border region. Reference is made to the application dated 6 November 2006 as well as to the additional information provided by the applicant on 15 March, 8 and 14 May 2007. The completed Fund shall include the following activities and results: - provision of approximately 30 grants to end recipients, - management costs. The Intermediary is VATI, Hungarian Public Non-profit Company for Regional Development and Town Planning. The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 15 percent of the total eligible costs is provided from the Hungarian central government budget.
