SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL PARK OF GIJÓN: "TOWARDS ENTREPRENEURIAL CONSOLIDATION"

The purpose of the Project is to increase space and services offered to innovative companies in the region by expanding the Scientific and Technological Park of Gijón, with the overall objective of facilitating growth and sustainable economic development in the region through the promotion of innovative business activities. Reference is made to the application, dated 7 September 2006, and to any susbsequent information received through the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - technical framework preparation; - construction; - equipping offices; - consultancy and advisory services; and - management and publicity measures. The Project Promoter is the Ayuntamiento de Gijon - Agencia local de promocion (the Local Agency for Economic Promotion and Employment of Gijon City). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 52.84 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
