HELP LINE FOR ABUSED CHILDREN AND WOMEN

The purpose of the Project is to develop accommodation and communication facilities for victims of domestic abuse, with the overall objective of improving the situation for abused women and children in Northern Greece. Reference is made to the application dated 8 May 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Construction of a reception area and accommodation for abused women and children in the premises of the Open Hospital House. 2. Provision of equipment. 3. Development and operation of a call centre (including a help line and a web portal). 4. Publicity and promotion activities. 5. Project management. The Project Promoter is the Drama Ladies Union. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Government of the Hellenic Republic provides at least 50 percent of the total Project costs.
