IKY Mobility and Scholarships Programs for the impementation of "Mobility and Scholarship Fund" of the EEA FM 2004-2009 in Greece

The purpose of the Mobility and Scholarship Fund is to strengthen the cooperation between Greece and the EEA EFTA states in higher education and research by providing mobility scholarships to Greek university students and researchers to undertake studies and/or research in the EEA EFTA states, with the overall objective to promote education and research and to contribute to human resource development in Greece. Reference is made to the application dated 30 July 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Fund shall include the following activities and results: - re-granting to scholarships - M.Sc., Ph.D. and Post-Doc; - management costs. The Intermediary is the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). The Focal Point shall ensure that at least 15 percent of the total eligible Fund costs is provided by the Greek State budget through the Public Investment Program (PIP) of the Hellenic Republic .
