Technical Assistance Fund for the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2004 - 2009 in Greece

The purpose of the Project is to provide support to the Focal Point in the Hellenic Republic, with the overall objective of strengthening the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism in the Hellenic Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 28 February 2008 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Publicity and information; - Management costs of the Focal Point (translation and travel expenditure related to audits and on-the-spot checks); - Appointment and activities of the Monitoring Agent; and - Organisation of meetings, workshops and conferences related to the implementation of the EEA FM (including Annual Meetings; Monitoring Committee meetings; Steering Committee meetings; technical meetings on the implementation of projects; and final workshop). The Project Promoter is the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Cohesion Fund Management & Monitoring Special Service (CFM&MSS) - National Focal Point. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Hellenic Republic's Public Investment Program provides at least 20 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
