The creation of prerequisites for the development of the primary school and visitor centre for the Väätsa Rural Municipality through the development of the Väätsa manor

The purpose of the Project is to renovate and further develop the main Väätsa Manor building into a regional centre, hosting a primary school, educational and conference facility and visitor centre, with the overall objective of preserving the cultural heritage of the Järva County and contributing to the economic and social development of the area. Reference is made to the application, dated 28 August 2006, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - project management, including publicity and carrying out of public procurement; - renovation of the main manor building - facade; - renovation of the main manor building - ground floor, basement, and top floor; - landscaping of the manor park; and - construction supervision and heritage conservation inspection. The Project Promoter is the Government of the Väätsa Rural Municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15.99 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
