Renovation of the buildings of Lahmuse School for children with special needs

The purpose of the Project is to improve the learning and living conditions of children with special needs in the Lahmuse School, with the overall objective of preparing children with special needs more efficiently for coping with the adult life. Reference is made to the application dated 11 July 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Preparatory activities: technical design for 4 buildings of the manor complex (creamery, smithy, manor house and administrator's house), - Renovation of the creamery into school building for handicraft classes, - Renovation of the smithy into school building for children in coping classes, - Renovation of the administrator's house into school building for student housing and - Project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is Lahmuse School. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Suure-Jaani Rural Municipality. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
