The Interior Renewal of the Virgin Mary Church on Chlumek in Luže

The purpose of the Project is to renovate and restore the interior of the Virgin Mary Church on Chlumek, with the overall objective of preserving cultural heritage in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application, dated 24 September 2008, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - painting of interior, - restoration of church furniture, - restoration and reconstruction of the church organ; and - publicity and management. The Project Promoter is the Roman Catholic Parish in Luže. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Pardubice region and the Town of Luže. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Town of Luže and the Pardubice region in total provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
