Reconstruction of Gothic Chapel of St. George and its mobiliary

The purpose of the Project is to restore the historical Gothic Chapel of St. George and its mobiliary art in the City of Litovel, with the overall objective of preserving Czech and European religious cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 22 September 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Tender procedure and selection of contractor for construction works and equipment; - Construction works; - Restoration of mobiliary art ; - Purchase and installation of interior furniture; - Technical and contructional supervision; - Publicity and management. The Project Promoter is the Roman Catholic Parish Litovel. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Archdiocese of Olomouc, Olomouc Museum of National Art and History, Litovel Town Museum, Litovel Town Club and the City of Litovel. The Focal Point shall ensure that the City of Litovel provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
