Instrumentation upgrading in the barrier-protected operating theatre and Perinatological Care Centre in the Faculty Hospital Brno-Bohunice

The purpose of the Project is to improve the perinatal care conditions and the safety epidemiological communicable diseases control at the Faculty Hospital Brno, with the overall objective of enhancing the quality of health service provision in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 15 August 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - purchase and installation of equipment for the communicable diseases unit, including medical staff training; - purchase and installation of equipment for the perinatal care unit, including medical staff training; - purchase and installation of equipment for the neonatal care unit, including medical staff training; - project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Faculty Hospital Brno. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Health provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
