Phase II of Church of the Saviour Reconstruction

The purpose of the Project is to restore and reconstruct the Church of the Saviour in Prague and the church organ to its historic origin, with the overall objective of conservation of European cultural heritage in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 14 August, 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - reconstruction of the church organ; - reconstruction of areas of the Church of the Saviour: flooring, staircases, stonework, church pews; - reconstruction of the Church of Saviour terraces, including removal of existing structures and rebuilding the structure with proper insulation and drainage; and - publicity and project management. The Project Promoter is the Congregation of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren (ECCB) in Prague 1. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Culture provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
