Creation of complex monitoring system of natural environment of the Moravian - Silesian region

The purpose of the Project is to achieve improved knowledge on endangered species and habitats not monitored under the EU birds and habitats directives, with the overall objective of improved protection of the biodiversity of the Moravian-Silesian Region. Reference is made to the application dated 12 August 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - establishing monitoring methodology; - monitoring of endangered species and habitats; - establishing proposals for management measures; - project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Moravian-Silesian Region. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15.01 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
