The purpose of the Project is to preserve and restore the St. Salvator organ in the church of St. Salvator in Prague, with the overall objective of conservation of European movable cultural heritage in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 22 September, 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - historic research on the organ by an organologist; - reconstruction works to the organ, including: pipe work restoration, organ housing and soundboard restoration; and construction works to the flooring surrounding the organ; - assembly of the organ at the original location in the St. Salvator church and tuning; - management and publicity The Project Promoter is the Prague Archbishopric. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Directorate for Cultural Heritage in Norway, a Norwegian organologist: Mr. Stein Johannes Kolnes, and the Roman Catholic Academical Parish in Prague. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Ministry of Culture provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
