Modernisation of kindergartens in the Plzen 4 municipal area

The purpose of the Project is to ensure improved possibilities for physical activities of children and reduce energy consumption in four kindergartens in Plzen, with the overall objective of modernisation of facilities serving educational purposes. Reference is made to the application dated 27 August, 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Purchase of furniture and equipment 2. Thermo modernisation works in four kindergartens (No. 6, 54, 57 and 64 in the Municipality of Plzen)– replacement of windows, insulation of walls, doors and roofs 3. Other modernisation works – modernisation of heating systems, reconstruction of washrooms and toilets 4. Project publicity campaign and management, including preparations for supplier tender proceedings (procurement procedure) The Project Promoter is the Statutory city of Plzen. The Focal Point shall ensure that Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
