The purpose of the Project is to restore and rehabilitate sacred monuments in the Ceský Západ region with the overall objective to contribute to the sustainable preservation of European cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 23 May 2008 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Renovation and public opening of the tower of the All Saints' Church in Stribro; - Renovation of the south wing of the Minorit Monastery in Stribro to house a café/study room, conference room and extended exhibition space and conversion of the attic into a depository; - Renovation of the St Wenceslas Church in Vysoké Sedlište; - Restoration of the organ in the Church of St John the Baptist in Úterý; - Restoration of St Wenceslas and Adalbert Chapel in Ostrov u Stribra; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Stribro. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Plana, the Convent Premonstratu in Tepla and the Municipality of Kostelec. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Municipalities of Stribro, Plana and Kostelec provide at least 15 percent of the estimated total eligible Project costs.
