The purpose of the Project is to develop complex documentation, analysis, interpretation and presentation of the works of Karel Škréta (1610-1674), with the overall objective of adding to the current knowledge of the artist and his works, and making it more known to the public. Reference is made to the application form dated 20 February 2008, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following results and activities: - purchase of equipment; - historical research, art-historical research and technological research; - publicity activities, including the development and carrying out of education activities – ‘lecture cycle’; - production and printing of publications; - development of a reference database/website; and - project management. The Project Promoter is the National Gallery in Prague. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible project costs.
