The purpose of the Project is to restore the building complex of the former Jesuit College in Telc, with the overall objective of conserving cultural heritage in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application, dated 22 November 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - public procurement and an archaeological survey; - interior and exterior renovation- and construction works; - installation of an elevator; - establishment of offices, an information centre, a library and a students café; - establishment of short-time accommodation; - reconstruction of an arcade and opening of the central courtyard; - renovation and adaptation of sanitary installations and installation of new ventilation facilities; and - management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the 'Masaryk University'. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the 'Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic'. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
