The Study Depository for the Castle's Collections

The purpose of the Project is to preserve and protect movable cultural heritage in Kynzvart Castle and Plasy monastery and make it available to the public, with the overall objective to contribute to the conservation of European cultural heritage. Reference is made to the application dated 3 September 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Rehabilitated interiors at Kynzvart Castle and Plasy monastery; - Established depository of movable cultural heritage at Kynzvart Castle and Plasy Monastery; - Established study rooms for the utilization of research material at Kynzvart Castle and Plasy Monastery; - Management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Narodni pamatkovy ustav (National Institute of Cultural Heritage). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the National Technical Museum. The Focal Point shall ensure the Ministry of Culture provides at least 15 percent of the estimated total eligible project costs.
