Reconstruction and Modernization of School Facilities in the Olešnicko Region

The purpose of the Project is to renovate and refurbish facilities of the elementary school and kindergarten in Olešnice (Základní a Materská škola Olešnice (Basic school and Kindergarten Olešnice), Hliníky 108, 679 74 Olešnice); with the overall objective of improved education facilities and human resource development in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application dated 23 October 2006 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: (1) Project management (including procurement and publicity); (2) Renovation and refurbishment of the school in Olešnice (main building); (3) Renovation and refurbishment of the school in Olešnice (annex); (4) Renovation and refurbishment of the kindergarten in Olešnice; (5) Purchase and installation of equipment. The Project Promoter is the Mesto Olešnice (City of Olešnice). Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Dobrovolný svazek obcí mikroregionu Olešnicko (Voluntary Union of Municipalities of the Olešnicko Micro-region) and the Rodicovské sdružení pri ZŠ Olešnice na Morave (Parent-Teacher Association Attached to the Elementary School in Olešnice na Morave). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total eligible Project costs.
