„Multifunctional playground of Basic School Ukrajinska No 991 in Ostrava-Poruba“

The purpose of the Project is the modernisation of sport facilities in Basic School Ukrajinska No.991 in Ostrava Poruba , with the overall objective of enhancing children’s knowledge of, and attitude towards physical activity, resulting in their willingness to preserve life-long fitness and health. Reference is made to the application, dated 11 September, 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: 1. Project management, including publicity and preparation of tender documentation and procurement 2 Construction works, including the following sub-activities: 2.1. Demolition and earthwork 2.2. Building of sport fields (in line with the Feasibility Study), fencing 2.3. Purchase of sport equipment (in line with the Feasibility Study). The Project Promoter is the City of Ostrava. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project cost.
