Pilot Project for Primary Drug Abuse Prevention - Ústí n. L. Regional Education and Training Center

The purpose of the Project is active protection of high-risk social groups (youth, socially excluded people, mentally ill) through primary prevention services for psychiatric patients, with the overall objective of increased primary drug abuse prevention and reduced comorbidity of mental illnesses and drug abuse. Reference is made to the application dated 12 August 2005 as well as additional information provided by the Focal Point, dated 27 October 2006,1 November 2006, 14 March 2007 and 28 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - reconstruction/renovation of St. Wenceslas church into a multifunctional educational and training centre for primary drug abuse prevention; - publicity - public awareness raising. The Project Promoter is the Psychiatrická lécebna Horní Berkovíce (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre). The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
