Modernization and Furnishing of Nurseries, Schools and School Educational Centres in Šenov

The purpose of the Project is to improve the quality of educational facilities in Šenov with the overall objective of increasing the quality of education in Šenov and fulfilling the Czech legislative requirements of Education Act 561/2004, Regulation 107/2001 and the Framework Educational Programme (FEP). Reference is made to the application, dated 12 August 2005, and correspondence from the Focal Point dated 18 July 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: Furnishing and modernisation of a nursery, an elementary school, including playgrounds, sport grounds and gymnasiums and the elementary school of art and music in Šenov. - The elementary school will be furnished with appropriate furniture, equipment and teaching aids, including alternation of present playgrounds and sports grounds. - The nursery will be furnished with appropriate furniture, including audiovisual and multimedia equipment, furnishing of the canteen and alternation and completion of present playgrounds. - The elementary school of music and art, the classrooms will be completely furnished, including teaching aids. The Project Promoter is the Town of Šenov. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
